To reach the conference venue, all participants are recommended to take direct or transit flights with one stopover.
Currently, tourists from 196 countries of the world visit Uzbekistan on direct and transit flights with one stop over.
There are 11 international airports in Uzbekistan. All participants are advised to navigate to either Tashkent or Samarkand airports to get to the event.
Participants of the event from the USA, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK, Latvia, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Israel, China, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Azerbaijan, Turkiye, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Belarus, Georgia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Iran, Pakistan and India will be able to visit Uzbekistan by direct flights.
Participants arriving from their home countries on transit flights are recommended to use the top hub airports such as New York, London, Madrid, Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Rome, Milan, Warsaw, Riga, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Istanbul, Doha, Jeddah, Dubai, Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Incheon (Seoul), Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Jakarta, Delhi and Mumbai from which direct flights are carried out to Tashkent.
There are also direct flights from Istanbul, Doha and Dubai to Samarkand.
For flights to Uzbekistan, it is recommended to use the services of Uzbekistan Airways for direct flights. For transit flights, it is recommended to use the services of Star Alliance member airlines that have codeshare and interline agreements with Uzbekistan Airlines and operate direct joint flights to Uzbekistan, such as Turkish Air, China Southern Airlines, Asiana Airlines, Lufthansa, Air France and others.
All participants arriving at Samarkand airport are provided with buses, minivans or sedan cars for transportation to the hotel.
All participants arriving at Tashkent airport are provided with seats on the high-speed Afrosiyab train on the Tashkent-Samarkand route or a seat on a domestic flight.

On the plane – 50 minutes (Uzbekistan airways, Silk avia or Air Samarkand)
High speed train TALGO – 2 hours.
a) Permanent Delegates of Member States to UNESCO who have applied to the Permanent Delegate of Uzbekistan to UNESCO intill 1 July 2025, will be provided with seats (economy class) in the 1+2 format on a charter flight on the Paris-Samarkand (28 October, 2025) and Samarkand-Paris (14 November, 2025) route, which is covered by Uzbekistan;
Transportation of the UNESCO Secretariat will be organized on dates agreed upon with UNESCO.
b) All other participants arriving through their own and transit countries purchase their own air tickets.
All participants of the event will be provided with daily transportation to get from the hotels to the conference venue.
Shuttle buses, electric buses, minivans, B-class sedans will be at your service.
And buggies will also be provided for quick movement around the Silk Road Center.
